Year 1 looking to make a difference
My name is Erin, I just moved to Hong Kong from Singapore to pursue a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
Prior to university starting, I helped build Eco Youth Collective – an student-initiated organisation that created a collaborative space for youths across Singapore to discuss and work towards increased environmental awareness in their communities. In addition to building the website, I headed teams to plan and execute weekly skills-based workshops over the course of two months, and mentored hand-picked students who sought to direct school-wide projects ranging from campaigns to apps.
While studying the IBDP in Singapore, I served as a Head of Public Relations for my school’s Model United Nations, and Head of Publicity for Ecology Society where I represented my school as a panelist speaker at national conferences.
I’m a curious and driven individual who sincerely hopes to meaningfully contribute to teams that strive to make a difference.
