Despite our best efforts, mental health issues remain as one of the most prominent challenges of our age. This is attributable to the extensive training required of mental health professionals, as well as the limiting nature of face-to-face psychotherapy. Mental health services has longed been conceived as resistant to technology given the human-centred nature the profession, but recent development and research suggest otherwise.
