Many people underestimate how important it is to accurately pitch your startup idea – whether to friends, family, peers or actual investors.
How can I get better at it?
How do I structure my pitch?
What do investors look for?
How do I express my idea clearly?
Who should attend? If you are…
+ interested in entrepreneurship or startups
+ from a technical background and want to know more about startups
+ from a research background interested in commercialising your expertise/tech
+ from a business background interested in understanding investors
This workshop led by Jessica Cheung, Form Manager at Entrepreneur First (EF), will help you to answer all of the above. The workshop will also include a “dry pitch” session where we encourage students to participate so we can provide live feedback. This is the best way to improve!
12:30 introduction to pitching
1:00 “dry pitches” and live feedback
1:30 Q&A and networking
Location: iDendron, 1/F, Knowles Building, The University of Hong Kong
