【直播見我！】港大創業者分享：WeVoice+ 視障人士的眼晴｜App + Volunteers = Visualising for the visually impaired

假如你有視覺障礙或老眼昏花，分辨不到眼前事物，附近又無人可以協助，如何是好？悅聲易 WeVoice+ 可以幫到你。這是一個供老年人和視障人士使用、世上首個同時具備人工智能及義工協助功能的手機應用程式。它將視障用戶與義工聯繫起來，用戶可發送圖片分析，人工智能負責文字部份，義工則描述圖片內容及進行溝通。

香港大學創新及創業中心iDendron「Meet HKU Startup Founders」直播節目系列，第八集繼續請來兩位創辦人，蕭啟穎 Kelvin Siu (HKU PhD in Mechanical Engineering) 及岑仲欣 Kimmy Shum，分享研發悅聲易的挑戰、策略及心得。節目於香港時間下周一（8月17日）下午1時正以廣東話進行。歡迎留言或寄電郵至 idendron@hku.hk 提交問題。

WeVoice+ is the first app in the World that has both volunteer support and artificial intelligence to help the elderly and the visually impaired. It connects visually impaired users with volunteers. Visually impaired users can send pictures to a group of volunteers and available volunteers can describe the pictures to them.

Join us online to meet co-founders of WeVoice+, Kelvin and Kimmy. They will share the market landscape and technical challenges of developing the app. The live online event will be held from 13:00 to 13:40, 17 Aug (Mon | HKT), conducted in Cantonese and hosted by Taurus Yip, Manager of iDendron.
